Probationary course for non-FAC holders​

12-week course

2 sessions can be missed due to unforeseen circumstances.
(At the training officer’s discretion, if more than 2 sessions are missed then the course must be restarted at full cost to the student)

Safety equipment and ammunition included.
(Purchase of your own ear and eye protection expected before the end of course)
Written exam at end of the course with 75% pass mark required.

Practical and Safety assessment at the end of the course. (100% required on safety)

Minimum probation of 6 months for each section.

Sections have their own safety and procedures protocols which must be passed within completing a minimum of 6 months probation starting from the date of joining that section. Upon successful completion of the probationary course, you may be asked to join the club.

 

FAC holders from Home Office approved clubs.

Probational period of 6 months of regular attendance and passing of knowledge skills and safety test.

Contact details of membership officers from previous clubs are required.

Air Section

New members can start directly in this section. Training will be provided. There are probationary tests, written, skills and safety that are required before being invited to join the club. After 1 year of regular attendance, members can apply to join another section with Air captains approval.
Before moving to another section you will be required to pass a written and practical exam , approval of the training officer is required. £40

NB. There is a waiting list for all sections, fast tracking through air is not an option.

Practical and 1500, existing FAC holders only

Practical section safety course must be passed before joining section.1500 skills assessment
and verbal exam must be passed before joining the section.

 

Persons with adaptive physical, reading or writing needs please make the training officer aware and assistance or reasonable adjustments can be arranged.
